1. Whenever an object excites, the possession of that object becomes attachment, love, desire, attraction. Getting caught up in them is called habit. Instead of being like that, five sense meditation gives the foundation of knowledge, standing on the basis of knowledge, "I see. My life force is spent in this amount, this expenditure is known as sight."
2. In experiencing the object, in the management of the senses, proportion and order are established.
3. Good conduct is established in feelings, speech, and actions. One is able to taste the benefits that grow in action without fault. Experience and research increase.
4. Material consciousness is removed, and spiritual consciousness is established. Getting caught up in the object of experience, in the sense through which the experience occurs, is material perception, and what happens when the experiencer stands apart and experiences? Knowing and not forgetting what is is self-realization.
5. This meditation gives calmness and clarity. This meditation gives the power to stop being possessed by objects.
6. Many things are necessary to keep the body healthy and strong. They have to be used through the senses. Then this meditation becomes a refuge so that the light of knowledge does not turn and its strength does not deteriorate.
